Great pic aNd a great poem. I too so love stories from the past. I go into a trance just imagining them. Happy New Year.🎈

I love this poem I love remembering back to a happy childhood and growing up time. I look back and apart from my sons I wish sometimes that I had not been in such a rush to marry.

TAPS - I understand his thinking completely on that topic.

I think it's something one is born with. One of your great-grandchildren or grandchild may also be like that and you will know right away. From forever I always wanted to know about what the family was like in the past and what their lives were like. Almost no one else in the family cares very much.

Re: Sea_Gypsy

Out of my four sons only Ribcage loved stories from the past.  He loved to hear them from me, from my mom & dad and from any old people that wanted to talk about past things.

Re: This is so beautiful.

It's just one I wrote about ten years ago.  I had visited them down Florida and I thought the Spanish moss hanging was so pretty.  But while I was under the trees the chiggars got me bad.  I didn't know that chiggars hang out in Spanish moss.

Gorgeous! Both the poem and the graphic. My kids don't care too much about the past but one grandchild has some interest, at least.
