Re: These are the times when we realize Mother Nature is not subject

Pat_B, thank you so much for your comment.  Mother Nature can be scary!  When I went to bed I could still hear the rain but thankfully it was gentle just as you said and I did get a good night's rest.  I hope your day is good.

These are the times when we realize Mother Nature is not subject

to the whims of politicians. If we humans let things get out of balance she arranges to reset the scales. I hope your rainfall was gentle and you had a good night's rest.

Corbin, I think it's gone way beyond officials.  I wish I did have answers.

Re:

Corbin, thank you for the comment.  I've thought about this but I just really don't know what to think.

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, thank you so much. I'm excited for my books to arrive.  If there is a really good recipe I will share it.

Re:

Sea Gypsy, thank you so very much for your comment! I turned on the news this morning and the first thing I heard was that the fires are worse. I feel so bad about this.  They showed a winery burning. It's just unbelievable.

I hope your rain is a mild one and I am so sorry to hear of your friend's friend who lost her home. That is tragic. The wineries are also a sad thing to lose as it hurts not only the owners, the consumers but the economy.
