Kabu, I've often thought about planting perennials but we have a lot of deer that live on the property and they eat are plants right down to the ground. We usually have flowers in hanging baskets around the patio. Our vegetable garden has a big fence around it to keep the deer out. I do enjoy my fairies and I have loved the garden this year. Our house is small so we only bring our house plants in. I'm excited about a spider plant that the neighbor gave us. It's small but I think it will grow if we put it under a light in the house. What fun you are having with your fairies and garden. I don't have many areas where I can keep plants inside so I have to select carefully. Mostly now I plant Perennials so that they come back each May.
