C_C_T, I can see you sitting down and writing a poem when you were 5 years old. I probably started writing by the time I turned 7 years old. I have always loved to write. Evidently, I have a lot to say. haha

I know they are a nuisance at times. Ours are on the middle of A Close . No one ever seems to collect them, although my brother does at times because they fall on the roadway in front

The neighbor's walnut tree hangs over my garage and the concrete
patio between garage and house. Almost every year this time of year brings a mess of walnuts in their green hulls, staining everything wherever they fall, or where the pesky squirrels carry them. You've gotta admire the squirrels, those hulls must be a bitter chew before they get to the shell and meaty nut inside.
