Re:

C_C_T, what is it like to live on a quarry? It would be awesome if you could find some crystals! Thank you so much for the comment!

I cannot say that I have seen many crystals or gold for that matter we live on Limestone it used to be a quarry from which the stone was sourced to build houses. I am sure if any was discovered it would soon be of great interest.

Rose crystal is pretty - Crystals and the myths surrounding them were

really a big fad back in the 70s or 80s.

Re: Re: Re: Lol, Goldiec...I have that big guy that travels everywhere with me.

Sassy, it is truly a gorgeous rock!  That was smart thinking to go back and get the truck!  I love it!  Tell hubby I said he's very strong to carry that rock!!!

Re: Re: Lol, Goldiec...I have that big guy that travels everywhere with me.

He carted it off to a spot near the road and then we walked back to the house and brought the truck back. Isn't it gorgeous? I am only guessing what kind of rock it is.

Re:

Kabu, you really must check out Rose Crystals!  They are inexpensive and they will add so much beauty and contentment to your house and your yard!  I hope you find some before the cold winter sets in.  Once you bring them into your home you will see what I'm talking about!  Your winter will seem warmer and your house will feel cozier I promise!  I think it's so cool that we have gnomes in common and rocks too!  Sassy is just like us.  That's three of us for sure!

Thankyou for this post. Such fun to find yet another rock person. Some rocks are just perfect as they are, others I look at and can see something there. A picture longing to be brought to life. I must look into Rose Chrystal. I believe real love is unconditional.

Re: Yes, rocks are one of my favorites too.

Sassy, I do hope you share pictures of all your rocks and your tourmaline crystal quartz rock!  It sounds absolutely beautiful!  I used to think I was the only one that loved rocks but now I know there are a lot of people that feel just like I do about them.  I love rocks as much as I love trees.  What can I say?

Yes, rocks are one of my favorites too.

We have a collection of famous city rocks from all over Pittsburgh, but we managed to find a large green tourmaline crystal quartz rock that now embellishes our flower garden. It is really pretty. I decorated our fairy garden with rock paths, and we made a rock pathway from large river rocks that we carted up to the house. I am not sure what it is about them, but rocks are really cool.
