I love your idea for a path.

I made rock and shell paths for my fairies and gnomes. We got moss from down by the river, and I have made quite an enchanted forest. Half of the fun is creating their little world, and I am sure that your paths will be beautiful.

It's great when there is no drama...I'm looking forward to the pictures.

Perhaps if you can't use an artist's brush you could find a way to use a

stencil, or perhaps rubber stamps to put decorations on the painted rocks. The round flat tip of a new pencil eraser makes nice little dots or circles. But the way you put colors together will work just fine. I know the fairies will feel the love you put into them.

Kabu, you will not seriously believe this but I collect rocks and I have also been known to paint them.  On my mantle over my fireplace, I have a very nice collection of rocks.  They are the smaller ones that we find in different places.  On my kitchen window ledge. I have two bigger rocks that I love.  I also have crystals throughout the house.  I just love them.  I'm so happy to hear that you are doing a project with rocks.  Your fairies will love it and I suspect the gnomes will too.  I finally got my gnomes in their beds for winter.  It was a struggle but I outwitted them.  I promised them a hot toddy but they had to go to bed to get it.  I did give them their drink once they were tucked in for the long winter. As soon as they finished their drink they were out like a light.  I will see them next spring.
