So sad. She was a legend and will be forever remembered for all the advancements she made in women's rights.

I was so sad when I heard the news very soon after it had happened. She fought so hard all her life for same rights causes for women as men she never spared herself, was beloved by her husbanda brilliant person. I have admired her for years and she will be so missed by so many.

Now we just have to make her determination and her values our own, and keep fighting the dysfunctional traditions of a patriarchy that resents giving up their privilege.

Of course opportunity had not much to offer to woman in the past. Thank goodness it is changing.

You and Goldiec summed her up well.
You should have written her eulogy.

Pat_B, I admire this woman so much! She has done a lot for women in her years on this earth. Thank goodness for people like this! I can remember reading about her illness over the years and I always hoped that she would beat the odds. For a long time she did and I was so sorry for all of us and her family when I heard of her passing. She will be truly missed. I'm not sure if there's anyone that could take her place. My heart goes out to her family!
