Some stick some fade .I played a computer game once and in a deserted town each radio played older songs and music.

I have always tried to keep up with the modern styles of music. I find watching America's got talent etc keeps me fairly current.

You're right, it could easily be an 80s song. I think that Bruno Mars song, "Treasure," could easily fit into the 80s music genre. It has that vibe. https://youtu.be/nPvuNsRccVw

How funny. You are the same age as my kids. They love 80s music too.
That is because it was the best era where music is concerned. From one-hit wonders to those amazing synthesizers that gave those unique 80s music sounds, it is my personal favorite time on this planet. Love your song choice too.
