After giving this a little thought, it seems home is where you hang your heart. And that's portable. Your heart - not your home. Well, usually not your home... :)

I'm just not sure where the best place would be to live but I've been watching the flooding on the weather station and I'm positive I do not want to live anywhere that there are hurricanes.  I do not want to live anywhere that is very dry and suffers from fires.  I don't like extreme heat so all those places are out.  I'm thinking maybe we should just stay in Cleveland!

As for the west coast, I have lived in Arizona, Oregon, California, and Nevada each more than once. I have also lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland. I have driven across the U.S. seven times, and so far I am feeling safest right here in Pennsylvania. From fires to hurricanes, I will take the mini-tornadoes and occasional blizzards over such devastating circumstances where there is a loss of life, health issues, and catastrophic damages. My parents live in Nevada, not from California or Oregon, and they have told me that the smoke has become unbearable. My relatives in Oregon fear property loss. This has been the most heart-wrenching year for everyone. Prayers to all of those folks who are suffering.
