Re: Sea Gypsy

The coin shortage is still around my area. Wawa offers a free coffee for $5 in rolled coin. Ollie's Bargain Outlet is only accepting exact change.

I found this interesting and it’s good to know how businesses are doing and managing during these times. Cash is cash and people will contunue to use it. BTW, has the “coin shortage“ gone away yet?

It is just another boring thing that has to happen. As you say some do not have even plastic.

I use a lot of cash because i bring it over from Australia on an international card.

That makes sense.

I have stopped shopping at places that do not accept cash, and while it isn't really an issue for me since I use my debit card, my hubby is a cash and carry shopper all the way.

Cashless society

There are a lot of places around here that prefer we use plastic because of the COVID. This article reminded me of something my cousin told me once.  She was dating a guy that owned a laundry mat and he had so much change.  I always remembered that.  I wonder if they still use only change?  I love these Car Wash posts.  Thanks for sharing them.
