Some dogs do go crazy when it thunders I had a sheep dog . When it was young I introduced it to fire works. It took no notice of them, but as it grew older at the first thunderclap at night it would escape from its run somehow and nearly knock the house door down. It had to stay at the foot of the stairs on those nights
