No, not at all. My brother-in-law owns a construction company.

Most of the people who hire his crew for roofing, renovations, or whatever their needs, invite the crew to eat and they are usually offered drinks. It is a good policy to get to know your local companies like that so that you can know who is reliable or not through getting to know them personally.

Yes, but they need to be check up on and you've got to not have anything there of value while they are there! A hard call.
