It must have been beyond frightening and what a story! Just amazing! It's like when we lived on the San Andreas Fault when there was a big earthquake when I was a kid. Horrid! The trauma doesn't leave. It's probably a blessing that you were in the eye of the storm, the quiet part. We had a bad storm here 2 years ago and our glass patio table lifted in the wind and was shattered all over the patio. I hope you never have to go through that agian.

Yes, imagine being here in California. After so many years here, it is devastating to watch the state become as it is.

Re: Yes, exactly. Thank God that you were all not hurt.

Sassy, I'm wondering what happens to the homeless people during these fires.  I'm not sure with the pandemic if they are allowed to have tent cities.

Sassy, it was a miracle that we didn't get hurt.  When I think back to that night we were so fortunate to have survived the tornado. It was a couple weeks before we found our glass picnic table under a mountain of debris. We never did buy a new glass picnic table again.

Yes, exactly. Thank God that you were all not hurt.

The little things do become big things. You were blessed. It feels as if the entire state of California is slowly diminishing from the fires and other natural disasters. It is sad. We have lived in that beautiful state on three different occasions. Most of the beautiful Redwoods have been damaged. People are relocating. It is a sad state of affairs, and right in the midst of the crappy pandemic, hate crimes, and unlawful events that are becoming an everyday practice. We all need God to intervene more than ever through unity, prayers,, and blessings.
