Do what Sea Gypsy has written, but not hang about.

Fill up trash bags and pillowcases as fast as I could with family mementos, get as many boxes of pictures as I could and grab all the thumb drives and computer stuff and meds and high-tail it outta there. I live with that in mind all the time. Oh yes, and water. Take water.

I would have a bug out bag with some clothes, my important papers, some water and my whole family!  I would want to leave in the truck.  It's higher up off the ground.

My sis ter came very close to burning earlier this year...she has a list and they pack well in advance and put in the car. Photos and memories they don't want to lose.

No pets or spouse. I would pack as much as I could. Most of my things are in St. Louis in storage.

It is truly sad to even imagine what they are going through.

We have no pets, but I would grab my spouse's hand, then I would take my photo album, some clothes, and our important papers. The rest can all be replaced.
