Goodness I hope you don't get polluted snow. One imagines it to be pure somehow.

deffinitely not ready for snow. We had our last snow early May.

For some reason the notion of snow in September in the high rockies

is not all that surprising. On the other hand to be 90 one day and snowing the next is quite a jolt.

Snow

Stay safe and warm!  I hope you have everything you need until the storm blows over.  I love the snow when I'm inside looking out. Freshly fallen snow is beautiful.  I hope your snow isn't mixed with ash.

Re: sassyass,

Here, temps go up and down like the proverbial yoyo, which keeps one from getting bored with the same old, predictable weathers.

Re: Annicita,

I do like the feeling, though, next time I go into the kitchen and it is all clean and begging to be messed up again!

Re: TAPS,

I have a simple approach to housework: Do a bit now, just as much as I want to have done. The rest can wait until I feel more like doing it. In practice, once I begin, I usual keep going a lot further than I intended. Not having to, that's the key! It isn't like it won't wait.

I was also enjoying your post up until I got to those freezing temps.

Our time here in Pennsylvania is just around the corner.

I too love the sound of wind. It is so comforting.

Cleaning the kitchen always sucks - especially the day after when dishes are a little more crusty and harder to clean.

I was enjoying your post until I got to the part about the kitchen.  I didn't finish cleaning up my kitchen last evening and it is still waiting for me.
