Sassy, our weather has been so strange this summer. It's been so hot and we've had two monsoons and I'm afraid to think about what winter will be like.

C_C_T, it's been raining all day. At last count, we got 4 1/2 inches and it's still raining. We've had what looks like three lakes right now and two of them are trying to meet in the middle. In the backyard, it's even worse. I hope the rain stops soon. What is it like to be on an old stone quarry? If the rain stops the water will start to go down but first, it's got to stop. I can look out my dining room window and see the water. That is very worrisome! Thank you for the comment.

Oh wow! There just is no happy medium.
It is either too hot or too wet. A soft rain at night followed by a sunny day with a moderate heat index would be ideal.
