Faith & Grace are like bridges.....they carry you across if you believe in them.

Aur justice ke liye ek sher hai....मेरा तुम्हारा फैसला होगा ख़ुदा के सामने, तुमने जो तैग़ ( sword) खींच ली, हमने तो सर झुका दिया।

Re: Aba Brother, what a great post! So informative.

Very wise comment. Glad I could provide you with details about Paul's visit to Rome, his trial, unjust. Timothy's trying to absolve him from the so-called guilt. All this makes for a comparison of today's courts, their delays and wrongfully pin crimes on the innocent accused. Thank you big Sister.

As a strong woman brought up to believe in myself as being of as much worth as any man, I always have trouble with Paul...but that is my own tussle to deal with. i do know that if someone said denounce your faith or I will shoot you in the head I would have no problem in saying then shoot. But....if I was tortured I have no idea what i would say or do.

Aba Brother, what a great post! So informative.

Paul is an interesting study. I was not aware of the details you presented here about his trip to Rome and the long wait for trial so I read this post with much interest. Paul obviously had no concerns for the outcome of his trial if he kept writing letters. Perhaps he knew it would matter not one way or another. I don't see how Timothy arriving there could have made any difference to save Paul. He could give testimony but like today, someone would refute it. And he would possibly jeopardize himself and the cause in so doing. Faith, if one believes that it saves oneself, then it does, I think.
