I was so fascinated to visit my first Buddha temple when I was a girl of 16. I felt very comfortable and surrounded by peace and love. To me Christianity and the teachings of Buddha, are very compatible. Wondering if you agree.

He was around and about....over 25 centuries ago.  How many times we his writings altered?

Aba Brother - Yes, very much so. I think...

Oh, dear Aba! Here is a complex post. A lovely challenge for my Western mind. What the Buddha taught I know not well, but he said and taught people to do the right things on various levels. To know oneself and ultimately the universe by various measures. So he did not speak in negatives, perhaps, but in positives? To become the best version of ourselves, to understand the metaphysical; and that we can chose a path but not deny our destiny? I must study to know. Thank you.
