So would that be Canadian bacon then? It doesn't taste like US bacon.

I've given up bacon (I think).  Doc says I have enough cholesterol for an old lady.

Until the second week in March, I ate a hickory  burger, at a dinner. It was topped with a Canadian bacon slice . It's like fatty ham

The only difference is the shape.

British bacon is more lean and round, more like canadian bacon.

In Australia we eat our bacon the same as the UK. I never enjoy bacon over here I guess what you have grown up with makes such a difference to what you eat.
