Re: So did you go andd get that pie, TAPS?
No I didn't but I still will even though it will be late. I haven't been quite up to par and don't seem to be getting much better very fast. Today I spent all morning and part of the afternoon getting everything in my body checked with ultrasound. (I have no idea what it heard. Results were sent to my Doc who ordered them.

I do have a great family, Sea Gypsy, and I am grateful for it.
I don't mind warm weather, but hot weather is another thing altogether!

She is such a card, that Pistache!!
And she has decided that I am now her favorite person, and proved it by trying to bite her previous favorite person, my Jo, when he approached her the other day.

The fans are not ideal, but sufficient for the number of days we get
such high heat which, up to this year, are not that often.

We're starting up a second wave down here in the States. Whoever comes up with a vaccine is going to become filthy rich!

800$ here, CCT for a will. Canadian dollars
They will accept a hand written will in Quebec if witnessed by 2 people not of the family or future beneficiary. However, the inheritors will have to have it probated anyway, so the notary still manages to get paid one way or the other.

You're right - maybe it's all the green space that cools off much quicker.
The evenings are perfect outside - just cool enough for a sweater over maybe.

Sassyass, I am not sure I believe the virus vs hot weather
I think that came out when they were comparing it to influenza?

You have a great family to enjoy. I myself like the warmer weather. Perhaps it will start this week. A little too windy here today. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Good move getting those fans, I think the sun is far brighter than it once was.
It still pays to be cautious, it will be great if a vaccine is made available eventually .
My brother was only saying the other day he did not know if either of us could manage a you know what. I said well I suppose the solicitor though pricey should know his onions.

I remember living at the edge of the forest - next to govt. owned
wild range areas in the foothills. Even the hottest days of summer cooled off at night to the point we'd need a blanket. I was not prepared for the midwest where the night stays hot and humid and it cools off to 80. I deeply understand why you like your location, except that I no longer find snow much fun.

We've had more than a week of that kind of hot weather, but today is cool, the morning humid and foggy and it is only supposed to be in the 70s all day. I think I might get out and go buy a blueberry Perkins Pie for P.D. for Fathers Day. I don't really feel like baking one from scratch and they make them fresh every day and they are so good. His favorite.

I like hot weather, but nothing above 80.
I have heard that the COVID does not fair well in hot weather, so maybe that is a blessing. Be safe and enjoy your day.

Apparently this isn't yet the second wave yet here, FSI
Our area only had a few cases until they opened the borders and the cottagers arrived. It's to be expected, and one can't blame them from getting out of the city.

It is, Corbin, but out here surrounded by trees and grass
and no asphalt, plus being up high where there is usually some kind of breeze, helps enormously. I wouldn't want to be living in the city right now - then I'd be wailing...or melting.

That's very hot up there. Summer is in full swing...Our cases in Maryland have been going down as of late. There is a lot of talk about the second wave occurring in the next few months.
