You are on a really good roll. I enjoy the storyline.
It sort of remind's me Nora Roberts stories. I am in the middle of another one of her novels right now. As for control, I believe that the person doing it hopes to take the other person's security away. They want the person to be dependent upon them which is really bad if the controller is abusive.
