Re: This is a great suspence story.
I lived in a country townof about 60.000 people in Australia. over the years quite suddenly a family would appear in a safe suburb where crime was nil or almost nil and most people went to work and school each day. Busy people who spoke to their neighbors but lived busy lives. These new people would live very quietly and then after a couple of years disappeared as quietly as they had come. Were they people in protection?? or someone who for reasons of their own disappeared. We used to wonder.
