I am not doing so much on the front deck since the doves moved in, and since I took an interest in growing food. But the morning glories and nasturtiums really brighten up the place. I just have to keep the interest maintained all summer!

I haven't had much interest in doing gardening of my own these past
couple of years, but I do love to walk and see the value of all the hard work the neighbors do with flower borders and hanging baskets, etc. The ladies at St. Boniface across the street still form work crews to tend the fabulous borders and landscaping there, even if the masses these days are virtual.

Water is the one utility my landlord pays for, and out of consideration for him, I try not to waste it. There are watering restrictions here, in the summer, too. We can water 1-2 hours only, 3 days a week.

Well Ciel I don't know how you pay for water. My helpmate thinks nothing of running my tap for 2 to 3 hours . Well he does not foot the bill.
