I guess when one becomes old one does have regrets. Although one has to realize that at any time the circumstances may have prevented one from completing to one's satisfaction that which now is a memory.

Re: Corbin

The state of mind is indeed determinant of one’s well being or otherwise. Thank you Sir, for this penetrating observation.

Aba Brother - Thank you so much, wise one.

I do agree with the premise of this post and love how you have presented the concept. One must have a passion and hopefully possess some wisdom as one continues to age, but then, if one's passion and wisdom are of a great enough degree, one tends to not dwell on age in numbers.

My grand-uncle never seemed to age. Ever. When asked how he did it, he answered that he never thought about his age; after all, what could one do about it anyway? He also never stopped being active for as long as he could do so. I learned from him a good lesson. It works for me. I don't think about whatever age I am...much.

The theme of age is one that fascinates me. I know of so many young people who feel they are old and thus become old.

Age is a state of mind that can easily be manipulated down a longer path!
