Sounds great, the ones we usually see look like lemons.

We buy Haas avocados every week for guacamole.

We also add them to our BLT sandwiches and they make a great topper on nachos.

I don't buy them up here. by the time they soften they are black . These of yours look like those grown in Queensland. big and fresh and beautiful.

I buy an avocado every once in a while with all the best intentions.

But all too often I open the veggie bin in the fridge and find one that's no longer edible. Shame on me for wasting food.

Re: TAPS,

I see two alternate solutions. One, to train it around the ceiling like a vine; Two, to prune it back so it grows more bush-like. Then, I suppose, it will need a dedicated room.

The only thing wrong with growing an avocado tree indoors is that you have to keep growing them indoors even when they get too tall for the cieling.  I had one that got so tall it bent and grew across the cieling so I took it out in the spring and planted it in the yard.  At first frost the big pretty tree died, of course.  I didn't like that so I didn't plant anymore.  They are awful pretty though.
