At the end of another week

Ten inches of new snow... Good morning, happy April!

The tendonitis in my left elbow is still a thing, so I'm resting it and becoming more  right-handed in lifting and carrying situations.

My food still tastes good, the aroma of coffee grounds still delights, and there is still plenty of food in pantry, freezer, and fridge. So, all's well enough there.

The air purifier arrived yesterday, and the latest avocado shipment--the third of the four I am committed to--also showed up, comprised of five huge avocados!  I am making some guacamole and will freeze some of it. The new ones go into the fridge and I will take them out one by one to ripen as I need them... should last me well into summer, when the last box arrives!

I let the deliveries sit a day, about the time it takes for the virus to die off cardboard.

The Seattle family has been calling me on video chat once a day. They are all well, there is even a chance they had the virus early on, when it was first appearing. They had the fevers, the coughs that lasted a long time, and all the not-quite-flu symptoms. Probably a good thing I cancelled the trip to see them right about that same time. But it will take antibodies testing to determine whether they did, in fact, have it.

It's good to remember that the vast majority of those who actually get sick from this virus do get over it, and many have fairly mild cases, and then they are done with it.

I'm sitting here like a kind of reverse lighthouse, sending out healing energies to the world...  A great cosmic Smile, as our Adnohr would say!

That's a major relief that Wiley did not interact with that person. In Maryland, we have a nursing home where 66 of the residents have come down with it. I also saw that France lost a lot of people in nursing homes yesterday.

Stay safe, girl!  Please wear a mask when out amongst the potentially infected.

Hug & prayers for your good health to return

The cough seems to be the biggest issue for many. My hubby had it for two weeks and then it just disappeared on its own. Try and hang in there, hopefully this will all soon be over.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you're seeing some real

improvement by the end of the day. Hugs. And prayers for Wiley, too. So many are on the outside of a senior living or nursing home and unable to check on their loved ones. If we all stay tucked in and the crisis passes, we can hug them again... Be well.

It is frightening to read that you are not 100% well.  Take care.

Kabu

It’s good to hear you are showing signs of being on the mend. It will take a while, I am sure. Mr. G must be so pleased you are there that he won’t mind a bit of a mess at all. I imagine they will end up separating Wiley from his roommate. What a shame about this COV-19 being at the nursing home. One of my grandsons was in a class group with someone whose father had it. Then they closed the schools, thank everyone. You will get to see Wiley when it is safe for both of you. Right now, rest and heal your body and your beautiful spirit.
