Re: shamasehar
You take care also in these troubled times. So far, the last I heard in Italy the relatives are okay. I will check, as each day is different. They are in the South and the people in the North where it started went to the South to avoid it. Then the South started to see more and more cases.

Pat - stay well!
I forgot to mention that it should be lined or made of a natural fiber like cotton, because the virus adheres to plastic, which is what synthetic fabric mostly is made from.

I'd been trying to think up a pattern to crochet a face mask, but it's
not going anywhere. No matter how small the needle, how fine the yarn, it's still full of gaps between stitches - no way to keep the dangerous droplets from sailing right on through. I suppose I could cut up an old dish towel to use for a liner...

sassyass - Thank you.
How nice that your doctor could do that! There have been none here for weeks, though we have been in all this time. We had a couple here though for a just-in-case time. Be safe!

Thank you. They are much needed in our area.
We received ours from the doctor's office, and thankfully so...the stores are completely out.

Re: TAPS You’re welcome.
You might consider cutting thin strips of cloth to size and tying them instead of using rubber bands.

Thanks. Of course I'm totally out of rubber bands or I would try it right now.
