How wonderful. I of course lose myself in my real garden filled with flowers, shrubs, and Gnomes and Fairies. During many lonely and feeling "lost" years of my life, I used to go to my own Planet. Zorge is a place that is what ever you need it to be. The one rule is that everything is fun, happy and positive, a planet to refresh Yourself and recenter your fulcrum.

What a lovely metaphor! And so well told. Wonderful to read and it seems everyone could write something on their own orivate garden, yet perhaps not so eloquently as this you have done here. What an interesting mother you had!

I like this metaphor very much. Brilliant of your dad to share it with
you. My own garden has some looming forested areas and some dancing waterfalls, and I came late to the realization that not just anybody gets a ticket to explore.

This is such a beautiful way to remember your mother. Gardening, flowers and growth are so therapeutic anyway, so this must make it even more special. So sorry about your loss, especially at such a young age. I can certainly relate to losing a parent at a young age.
