by not actually looking, you may find a guy. I have friends on FB that don't want to"Hook Up' but i treasure their friendship. i love my cat, i love all animals so i find usually much younger people than me who share that same love. I feel like everyone's grandma and it lightens my days for me.

I know, right? I love the library, but not for potential dates. They carry the vintage movies that I love from the 80s, and they are a great fallback for books when I can't find anything good to read.

At a recent birthday party, my daughters, our single female friends, and I were just talking about the best places to meet men when you are single since FB, Tinder, and other online dating sites is a scary thing. The old way of meeting out in public or at your job is how it used to be done. That is how I met my spouse 34 years ago, at my job. He walked in, and that was it. We came up with a few choices...The bowling alley on league night is packed with men, and due to it not being a cheap hobby, they more than likely are gainfully employed. Home improvement stores are where the contractors shop...just glance at their ring finger to see signs that they are taken. Going to parties with friends who invite friends from work. Hobbies or a class...signing up for a class can lead to meeting someone with similar interests. Get out and do stuff that you enjoy. Meeting a great guy while out and about takes strategy, but it can be done. Good luck!
