Interesting about the terms for "pop" music these days. I didn't know. Thank you. In personal situations it sometimes annoys me to have to hear about people's own self-labels. Still, there are those folks who are accomplished and modest and they are interesting people from whom I enjoy learning a thing or two.

I can't imagine bringing up your profession unless the conversation steer's that way or you are directly asked. I guess it depend's on who you are and who you are getting personal with.
