I enjoyed hearing about how exuberant the author felt about sharing a beautiful Spring-like day with his sister. Thank you for sharing, as we all should be reminded that Spring will arrive sooner or later, and how wonderful it is! I almost read the last line of the stanza as “It is the hour of healing.”

I am afraid we only recited Daffodils in the dark years that school was attended.

. It is interesting how the love of nature inspires the poet.    

One can imagine him enthusiastically calling for his sister to explore the hidden joy of Nature.
