Re: Re: Aba Brother

Oh, and how true that Hindi saying can be. Yes, you are a learned one!

Women so often are women's worst enemies. I cannot stand being kept in a box or criticised by Aunties or mother's friends. The worst was one of Mother's sisters who was competitive because her daughter (who was my best friend ) was the same age as me. She always had something nasty to say to me when no one else was near.

Re: Aba Brother

There is a saying in Hindi that women are womens’ worst enemies. Me? A learned one? Ha ha ha

Aba Brother

Again, thank you for your insight. I couldn’t help but think that there must have been many women who were at the disposal, victims, of their male-dominated society. At least it was so in Italy also. Perhaps Chekov showed us another version of tragedy. Thank you, dear learned one.
