The river’s destination is the sea, yet it fears entering the ocean thinking its identity will be lost for ever, not knowing that it is going to become one with the vast itself, the drop becoming the ocean, simultaneously also, the oven becoming the drop. Loved Khalil Gibran.

Gibran is a favorite and thank you for this. It’s how we all feel at times. We should just let the river take us where we need to be, but often we fight it - needlessly.

Beautiful imagery. Sometimes risks are worth taking. The river will enter a much larger body of water. Hopefully she is welcome.
