Now people are too busy multi-tasking and working two jobs to pay the bills. But at the rate things are going, we are all going to get slowed down when some physics thing we didn't know could happen, happens, and all our electronics go flat.

Times change, once folk needed the company of neighbors and friends.
I don't think it will ever be like that again,but it is a loss.

Great post ... I find I am just giving up. If you can't be useful to a person they don't seem to want you and if you are in real need who is there to call. i am blessed with nexxt doors who live about an acre away but all I have to d is call and busy as they are one of them will be over to help me. of course they work so can't be here as much as I need.
No one ever thinks to bring hot coffee and just pop in for a chat.
