In the eighth grade we had a blizzard hit and we got out of school early but not early enough. Our bus got stuck about 1/4 of a mile from the driveway, so my brother and I walked through the storm to the house. (our driveway was over 1/4 mile long) We wound up with 30 inches of snow.

Once at the Colorado River, on a houseboat, towing a small outboard. The little boat started sinking from taking on water. Had to bucket bail the water out of it.
