Some issues become more important than they started, when various translations create dire consequences. This one is a case in point, as is the King James version that reads, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."  Many have pointed out that the KJ scholars lived in a time when witches were especially feared, but that a truer translation of the word for "witch" is "poisoner."

Yes, one can cherry-pick their way through many different versions and translations, and can also translate according to what they want others to find, too. A 'parallel' Bible is fascinating, even in some of the smallest words when they are not quite the same, as in using 'and' or 'but.'

I do believe that whatever a person is wanting to find in the Bible, for whatever reason,..... they will find it.

There are a lot more serious issues covered in the Bible than what people do behind closed doors.
