Yes it was a terrible time more folk being killed by the flue than in the war.
Well so I read somewhere. There were a terrible amount of casualties in the war so the disease was really widespread. How short is human memory .

Inspirational story. Thanks for sharing it.
I seem to remember that flu epidemic went world wide and killed many thousands. It was before I was born, but they still talked about it when I was a kid.
