Yes it is going to be tough for you. Winter is rather demanding. I'll tell a little story about a kitten on my blog. I like the cat food in jelly best it slides out of the packet, gravy ones are messy and really smell in summer unless they are washed out.

I think the barn thing is a likely thing, and that when the weather improves, KittyStray will be back. It sounds like you have crafted a real connection there! Did you see on FB the winter-shelter boxes made from coolers and plastic bins?

It is lovely to think that people care - but it wouldn't surprise me
in the least if you showed a lot of care and concern for them, too. I hope your weather becomes more enjoyable. Great news about Sir Graysome - getting back his inner kitten. Hugs!
