We have quite a few deer roaming around but mostly only at night . They are quite shy.

It's that time of year when the deer are twitterpated (word from
Disney's "Bambi") and not paying attention to their highway hopscotch games. Very dangerous around here, esp. at dusk - I've seen dead deer alongside a street that runs through some overgrown areas along the bike trails. Scary.
