All I said was, "I hope that better system (the one that President Trump said we needed) is coming along now and about ready for use as it is just a tiny bit over a year until we vote for POTUS once again." and here you are basically telling me that I didn't have the right to say it.
What is wrong with you? I can see why Kabu is upset because she very much dislikes the politics of the U.S. But I thought you liked politics.

If you don't participate, and/or follow what's going on, you really don't have a reason to communicate about politics. I feel it's our duty to understand what is going on in our country. It's also important to watch both sides...so you can make a balanced decision on issues.
Those who do not participate, or at least give some semblance of caring, really forfeit a right to complain.

I try to avoid politics in my entries, and when I do write about it, I do so in a general sense and talking about things I think we can all agree on.

Taps, I second the motion - to avoid politics.
It is disturbing these days - maybe it's just because it's here and now, but this era seems more fractious than those gone by. I hope my posts don't add to the burdens some of us are carrying.
