This one was written in '93 - when I was still in the workforce, women's equality movements were still being treated as a symptom of hysteria by many MIP's (Men In Power). This was before the #MeToo movement, after the Roe v Wade decision by the SCOTUS, and while 'the establishment' - especially Congress - was overwhelmingly white & male. As the old Virginia Slims ad man put it " you've come a long way, baby."
