Happy to hear your daughter is okay. It seems to be raining babies lately - have had 3 newbies in our family within the last 6 months.

Re: FSI,
Our Elsa is all about the smiles and laughter! She is such a happy child, though she has her sulky moments and tearful protests, too. And she is funny, too! For reasons of privacy and online safety, her photos are limited to a closed group on Facebook, so they don't go out to the world at large.

Re: CCT,
That one bold doveling, I think I have glanced up twice now to almost see him actually flying to the nest from a nearby place on the deck. None of the others I've seen though these many breedings has been so assertive! And one seems to always be the shy one who stays in the nest a day or so longer than the one that departs first.
All's well since daughter and family are home. As I said to R Presta, the cause seems to have been the baby kicking hard, bruising the placenta. Brat!

Re: RPresta,
She is doing fine, and so is baby, who apparently kicked hard enough in the womb to cause placental bruising and some bleeding.
A friend of mine, years ago, a small woman, had a couple of ribs cracked by her restless, kicking baby, so it could be worse!

I do hope your daughter and baby are fine - and the rest of the family! What an event on vacation. Glad your weather is cooler also.
