In the summer I loved the flowered pinnafores that mother made me from the chicken-feed bags. They were cool and pretty and I didn't care if people could see my underpants when I climbed trees or did cartwheels on the lawn.

I hated anything that even resembled a dress when I was a young tomboy! My favorite was coveralls, bib and all, in denim, of course!

Oh, boy, do I! So many... I remember and still have, a coat from when I was about 2 or 3. It was to wear in the snow when i’d be bundled like a walking burrito! Many, many more. Thank you.
