Re: Ciel

Goodness you might be right Ciel. We were never allowed to run amok, of course we did sometimes. A lot of work to hanging gardens, but of course they are a beautiful creation.

Re: RP

RP  most of my neighbors are fairly quiet. I guess we cannot choose them unless we move house and then someone worse might move in next door. Thank you.

Re: FS

Yes it is miserable when one has to ignore folk nearby. Hope never despairs.

It's great when one gets along with neighbors. If not, one is bound to go through hell...The hope still lingers.

Love the last two lines of your first poem.  I've had neighbors that would fit into that category.
Love that color of flower.  Beautiful.

CCT

It's a beautiful photo of the flowers you've shared with us. And yes, it's rather nice to know the neighbors but not see them too often. In my case, not to hear them at times would be great also. And such a lovely, wistful poem.

I have always like being surrounded by a green visual screen. I've heard it called Sleeping Beauty Syndrome, to have one's house entirely surrounded by greenery. It probably comes of a childhood of too much parental/authority supervision.  I might also have a Hammurabi Syndrome, loving hanging gardens as I do!

Your flowers are always so lovely, your poems so often so wistful!
