Pat - Great Post!

What a darling and fun post! We all try to stay out of our kids’ lives, matchmaking wise, but sometimes Mother Knows Best. It would be interesting if they met. My parents had a knack for matchmaking - other people‘s kids, that is.

HAHA.  Cute post.  I only tried making a suggestion to my youngest son and only once.  He put me in my place quickly.  He knew best.    My mother never butted in, just accepted our choices.  My dad attempted to tell us girls who he didn't like for us but it did no good.

Why not? I would go ahead and introduce them. If it doesn't work out, at least they get a chance to meet. Nothing lost.

Yes I am sure you can see things that they can't. It is treading on whatever happens in the future.

People do seem to have the best intentions of fixing up people, but it does seem to cause more chaos...It seems like a lot of peole who try to give it a go after decades apart ending up remembering why they broke up in the first place.
