Perhaps the day will come when no-one will need to express such feelings.

If I were there I would push both you and Kabu in a double wheel chair.

I've never been a demonstrating type. Maybe one day I will be.

Just curious....what would have made the difference had it been in Indiana?

Your way is certainly the basic answer - how you live, act and react, what you say - all proof of what you believe is good and right. Sometimes we need to join as a group to get the attention of those stumbling and/or blind powers-that-be. I would have joined them in a minute!

Re: Pat_B

That mom is my great-niece and her girls my great-great-nieces.  She is a great mom who works nights as a first responder, ambulance technician...a single mom who works, takes care of things, loves her girls to the max and is a good example to them.

Black lives definitely do matter, and I'm proud of that mom and her

beautiful daughters for stepping forward. I am thinking of getting a slogan printed on a tee shirt: "liberty and justice for all."  Or maybe "skin pigments vary, but all blood is red."

I packed my babies into a big pusher and marched for peace during the Vietnam War. Our boys were fighting along side of yours during that disasterous time.

I would have been happy to push you in a wheel chair for this march .
