I don't know about that. I don't fly anymore or travel very far at all. I've always suffered from motion sickness and after a trip to Spain & France decided to be a home body. I gave in once to Florida for a funeral and back.

Are you in one of the states that the driver's license doesn't match the federal requirements for a license to be used as an ID at an airport? Everybody in Kentucky has to renew their Driver's Licenses to update to the Fed's rules....(and you have to pay again, too!)
