You put your thumb on the situation - I've been watching the 70s
too, and remembering stuff that had slipped my mind. I think we were in some ways a bit more grown up on the media, the things that could be presented, words that could be said were sometimes a bit more sophisticated than today's FCC allows. It is weird though looking at those old blockbuster movies, to see the hero characters smoking.
