Re: Re: Ciel

I know. We have fencing. We also have a creature who can carry things. It moved the crabapples around and later ate them, in separate incidents. I think our bunny mixed to the fro t yard. I hear something with little claws at night climbing on the side of the house... We have all the usual suspects of critters.

Re: RPresta,

Short of fencing, is there a way to keep critters away from a garden?  Around here, we get raccoons in the garbage dumpsters, and there is a bunny who has been here several seasons but it seems to favor the front yard and its pathetic 'lawn' which is more dirt than grass.

Re: Pat,

Maybe I will try beans again... Love the scarlet runners with their bright flowers!

And sugar snap peas... they are tasty right off the vine!

I must look into some raised beds but the creatures will eat everything. Congrats on your blog.

You're right to let the negatory birds fly on by on Wordpress, and

look & learn with the good feedback. Poor little nothings, nothing to contribute. I sometimes wish I had enough more energy to do some vegetable planting. I used to love the squash blossoms, the tender little cucumbers, and the Kentucky Wonder beans growing up the trellis...
