You know I love and pray for you.  Thank you for sharing.  You comforted me when granny was dying.  Now its my turn to do the same for you.

I knew that you were having age related troubles and needing to rest more and more. I worry about you and you are in my daily prayers. Now I add Rib Cage for I don't believe that I knew how ill he is. A great poet and someone that I always felt that I would love to meet, along with you dear one.

I remember when I started here I was in awe of You and Wiley, Justi and others that have now gone. i couldn't believe my luck when you camr and commented at my posts...well I admit I didn't understand the system but still not everyone came like you.

Re: Corbin_Dallas

That is a good list and I'm happy to be on it.  I still keep in touch with Justi now and then and Naut still sends me Christmas and BD cards.  I used to love the little award cards that Joe_Love used to make up for Blogit people.  He did several of them for me.

Re: C_C_T

We laugh about our situation a lot, and P.D. does anything for us that we need done and can't do.  Phil keeps us happy.  He loves to come by and visit.  He loves to play toss the stuffed animals and watch cartoon movies with Ribcage and eat goodies.   Ribcage's favorite saying to me is, "You'd better not die before I do, I wouldn't have anyone to talk to and laugh with."   (P.D. is so good about anything except listening.  He loves to talk himself and never quits unless someone hits him upside the head.

TAPS...so sorry to hear all of that!  We've not always agreed on everything, but we respected each others rights to have opinions.

You've been in my favorites list since the beginning in 2006, along with...

God bless you and show you the path through the days, months, and years ahead!

I do feel sorry for you both, I think though that you are braver than most and I hope and pray that you will still enjoy life for a long time yet.

Re: Pat_B

He has splints on hand that he has used from other breaks.  He believes in using one for about three days and then to begin working through the pain and keeping moving.  So far that has always worked for him.  It is the Stone stubbornness.  His Dad was that way until he had a bad stroke and couldn't do for himself.

Re: shamasehar

You are very precious and endearing, and I love the things you have shared on your posts.  I'll never forget the wedding photos, and the safari photos, and I love your poetry.  One other thing, even though I can't read it without a translation, I love your Hindi writing.  It is very beautiful script.

You have a lot on your plate, TAPS. I'm wishing you and Ribcage all the best.

You were right to write this. I empathize with Ribcage's decision not

to seek traditional medical care for his illness - but if he broke something it might not be a bad idea to get a splint. I'm guessing you've already tried that approach. Love one another, write when you can.

TAPS,you most definitely should have written this post, as your heart said.

It is beautifully told. I'm sure it was difficult, but being the wise nurse that you are, you knew it was something we all should read. While I am deeply saddened that you are feeling unwell and as you described, feeling not up to posting here is small in the scheme of life, and I am thankful that you wrote this one for us. It's good to know you are still reading our little blurbs here. It must be terribly painful for you to see Ribcage's illness and to tell us about it. I am so sorry. But you are right, do enjoy each moment; the music, the sports, the coffee, as we all should, for in reality, each moment is all any of us have anyway. You posts are always top-notch winners. Thank you for this one. And I look forward to others if and when you feel like it. Sending love, a prayer, and a song.
